After administering the Diagnostic Assessments of Reading (DAR), users enter a student’s DAR results in any areas of need.
For the leveled subtests (Word Recognition, Oral Reading Accuracy, Oral Reading Fluency, Silent Reading Comprehension, Spelling, and Word Meaning), users enter a student’s mastery levels.
For the nonleveled subtests (Print Awareness, Phonological Awareness, Letters and Sounds, and Word Analysis), users click the check boxes to denote that a student did not master a particular subtest.
Upon submitting the results, users will receive a list of Trial Teaching Strategies appropriate for those results. Users can review the strategies and download materials for use with their students.
